Hydro Power Energy Recovery within Water Supply Networks
The project aims to assess the loss of hydropower energy within water supply networks in two regions in Jordan. The project also evaluates the potential of energy available within the power of water that can be recovered and converted to electricity using micro-hydro-turbines.The project includes scouting the locations within the water network where the Pressure Reducing Valves can be replaced by micro-hydro-turbines. This project is funded by the GIZ.
